I am in the final year of my Ph.D. work focusing on how a changing climate affects California waves and coasts. My research with the USGS seeks to help local coastal policy makers best prepare for sea-level rise and changing wave conditions over the next century. I am generally interested in the physics that determine how sand, mud, and pollutants move in coastal systems, and I am passionate about interactive science education at all levels.
