Randy Garrett got his B.A. in Pure Mathematics at UCSC. After graduation, he taught math at his alma mater, Mater Dei High School in Orange County, while completing his M.S. in Pure Mathematics at CSU Long Beach. He has been teaching at PCS for 12 years.

His passions are math, surfing, spearfishing, languages, guitar, mycology, evolution and his family.
